The 4 Way Test is about EMPATHY, TRUST and ACCOUNTABILITY.
We use the Four Way Test method when selecting non-profit organizations to partner with and support. It is our own test of moral code, adapted by Paul Harris, to determine our personal and business relationships. We have learned it is a unique approach and process to address conflicts, solve problems and make decisions to achieve desired outcomes.
Four Way Test
Is it the TRUTH?
It is sincerity in actions, character and expression. When we apply it, we must decide if it is honest to ourselves.
Is it FAIR to all concerned?
When me make decisions they do not only impact us, but others as well. We have to ask ourselves, if what we are doing treats everybody equal.
Will it build GOODWILL and better FRIENDSHIPS?
By making good decisons we can build lasting relationships with other individuals. Our decisions can help influence how others treat us, and likewise how we treat them.
Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
We ensure balance when making decisions about our program recipients to create a more positive impact in our community.
