We are one of over forty-six thousand clubs established in two hundred countries throughout the world. With over 1.4 million members world-wide, we are a formidable force for humanitarian improvement. Throughout the years Rotary International has been involved in global projects of immense proportions – eradicating polio, fostering peace through international scholarships and exchange programs, and addressing such critical issues as poverty, hunger, health, illiteracy, and the environment. On a local level we have been very active in supporting many community organizations and projects. Our commitment to education is shown each year with Academic Scholarships to students seeking to go into social work.
